Norman L. Barnard, 74, of Paris, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 in a Fort Smith hospital.
He was born January 8, 1937 in Paris to the late Floyd A. Barnard and Irene Lee (Miller) Barnard. He was a retired truck driver and trader. He was of the Assembly of God faith.
He is survived by three daughters:
Vicki Lee Resch of Roland, OK
Sharon Sue Pool of Magazine
Ann Margaret Smith of Paris
Two sons:
Larry Bob Barnard of Lavaca
Bruce Wayne Barnard of Pocola, OK
Two sisters, Betty Bettis of Van Buren and Ruth Raper of Paris
Two brothers, Charles "Chuck" Barnard of Paris and Doug Barnard of Caulksville
14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral service was at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Manuel Mann officiating. Interment was at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers were Michael Resch, Kenny Resch, Paul Highfield, Harold Raper, David Raper, and Donny Ray Smith.
