SPRINGDALE — Anna Nell Ironside, 75, of Springdale died Jan. 13, 2004, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Jan 3, 1929, in Hardy to Murphy M. and Jewel Wayne Rye Sullivan. She taught school for 38 years at Springdale, Prairie Grove and Pleasant Plains. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Ironside, on Aug. 2, 1997.
Survivors include four sons, Joe E. Ironside and wife Gayle of Springdale, Randall Ironside and wife Jan of Rogers, Scott S. lronside and wife Julie of Fartteville and Dr. John Brett Ironside and wife Shawn of Little Rock; one brother, Patrick Sullivan of Cave City; two sisters, Charlene Cathey of Bentonville and Louise Halbrook of North Little Rock; eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Springdale with the Rev. L. Stewart Smith officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Friday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be be Joe E. Ironside, Randall Ironside, Scott S. Ironside, Dr. John Brett Ironside and Stephen Ironside.
Memorials may be made to the Arnericm Cancer Society, 3291 S. Thompson, Suite D104, Springdale, 72764 or First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Gutensohn, Springdale, 72762.
