Rogers - William A. (Willie) Gobble, 72, died in a Bentonville nursing home this morning. Born in Benton County Nov. 18, 1890, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Avoca Methodist Church.
Survivors are a son, Ray, of Rogers; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Williamson of Tulsa, Mrs. Elsie Rose of California, and Mrs. Jewell Smith, also of California; one sister, Mrs. Anna Mae Blood of Rogers; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Callison Funeral Home.
