Fred E. Goodman, 74, 508 N. Dixieland Road, Rogers, died Oct. 25 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 7, 1901, in Enid, Okla., he was the son of Sam and Eve Hoessner Goodman, was reared in Enid and moved to Sunnyvale, Calif., where he was employed by Pacific Gas and Electric Co. Following retirement, moved to Rogers in 1972. He was a member of the Baptist Church and served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Stokes Goodman of the home; one daughter, Mrs. LaRue Lopes, Los Angeles, Calif.; one step-son, Edmond Leon Ogle, White City, Ore.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Burns Chapel, Rogers, with the Rev. Burl Buzzard officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.
