M.L. "Jack" Gray, 81, 609 S. 20th St., Rogers died Jan. 29 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 22, 1896, in Pine Bluff, he was the son of Marion Edward and Fannie Allred Gray. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rogers, ordained deacon of Southern Baptist Convention, master Mason, member of Eastern Star, charter and active member of Rogers Lions Club, World War I veteran, retired insurance salesman and was selected for Who's Who in Arkansas in 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eunice Gray of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Gardner (Almeta) Pate of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Shrader of Pine Bluff; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Callison Funeral Chapel in Rogers, with the Rev. Ben Rowell and the Rev. Rex Easterling officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under direction of Callison's.
