Funeral service for Neil McKinnon, Sr., 74, who died Monday, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., at the Sulphur City Baptist Church by the Rev. D.L. Dykes, Jr. Burial will be in McCord cemetery under direction of the Nelson Funeral Home.
A native of Mineral Springs, Ark., Mr. McKinnon was a retired mechanic. He attended Hendrix College in Conway, and was a member of the Methodist Church. He and Miss Buena V. Nelson were married in Columbus, Ark., December 22, 1901, and resided on Route 7 at the time of his death.
Survivurs are his wife; three sons, H.D. McKinnon of Trinadad, Colo., the Rev. Neil McKinnon Jr., of Ewing, Va., and Donald of Carthage, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Everett Price, Jr., of Sulphur City, and Mrs. Mike Pepramala of Hunter, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Miss Henry McKinnon of San Marcos, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
