Mr. Jeanie Floyd King Jr., who resided near Caulksville, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Paris.
He was born Oct. 13, 1935, in Tyler, Texas, to the late Jeanie Floyd King Sr. and Pauline (Allison) King Miller. He was 77 years old.
He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, George Miller.
Jean was a retired tech-rep for Lockheed Aircraft Corp. in England. He worked on the Lockheed TR1 and the Lockheed U-2 spy planes for the U.S. government and attended Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Jean's favorite hobbies, along with his wife Doreen, were collecting rocks, camping and enjoying the outdoors.
Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Bill Van Meter.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Doreen (Thompson) King; two sons, Kevin King and wife Bernice and Kraig King, both of Houston; three sisters, Betty Pepau of New Mexico, Pat Forehand and Virginia Reynolds, both of Texas; and three grandchildren.
