George Roland Latham, 79, of Russellville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle, Arkansas. The son of Reverend A J and Mae Bone Latham, he was born October 26, 1931 in Appleton, Arkansas. He was a United States Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member and former Minister of Maple Springs Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing the piano, singing and recording music. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Edna Modene Condley Latham; brother, Grady Latham; sister, Gladys Allen. Left to cherish his memory are son, Rick Latham & wife Diane of Russellville; grandson, David Latham; granddaughter, Michelle; step grandson, Daniel Curtis; brothers, Glen Latham & wife Cledyth of Russellville; Bill Latham & wife Cleta Ann of Russellville, Brooks Latham & wife Bonnie of Hedgeville, Kansas, Bob Latham & wife Vickie of Dardanelle, Arkansas; sister, Donella Benham & husband Bill of Bridge Port, Texas.
Full military honors was provided by Rogers-Rye VFW post #2283. Pallbearers were Glyn Rackley, Tommy Bowden, Gary Latham, H W Condley, William Condley, Leon Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers were all Minsters of the Antioch Association.
