Obituary
Louis G. Laechelt, III, 80, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005, at his home in Heber Springs. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and retired to Heber Springs in 1986. Louis was in the Marine Corps and the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post #64 and the Legion Honor Guard. He was also active in the SAL JR. Shooters program. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood carving, and square dancing. Survivors include his wife, Angela; daughter, Nancy Allen; grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, and Haley of Heber Springs; nephews, Brian and Barbara Jean Mann of Boise, ID, Fredric and Barbara Joyce Mann and their children, Eric, Paul, Christa, and Kenneth of Klamoth Falls, OR, other relatives and many friends.

A vigil will be held Monday, November 21, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Albert's Catholic Church. A funeral liturgy will be held Tuesday, November 22, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Albert's Catholic Church with Deacon Bob Morris presiding. Interment will be in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Post 64 American Legion Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to Cleburne County Hospice, Cancer Research, or St. Albert's Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
