Obituary
Mary Louise Meek Gachot, 91 of Heber Springs, went home to her Creator on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. She was born on Friday, February 4, 1921 in Warren, Arkansas to the late Guy Meek and Nellie Hargis Meek.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gachot was preceded in death by a sister, Francis Meek, her husband Fred, a son Carl wife Lois, and grandson, David Gachot Jr.
Mary is survived by her son, David and his wife Ann; grand-children, Donald Gachot, Debra Sanchez and her husband Abel Sanchez; grand daughter in-law Tammy Gachot; great grand-children, Rhylie, Baylee, Lauren, Ethan, Nathan, Cody; other relatives and many friends.
Mary and her husband Fred moved to Heber Springs in 1972. Mary was always active in church work in Little Rock and Heber Springs, having taught Sunday School for over 50 years. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church in Heber Springs, an avid reader and studied the Bible extensively.
