Burial site of William Jefferson Blythe and Virginia Clinton Kelley, father and mother of President William Jefferson Clinton. William J Blythe was killed in an automobile cash in 1946, while returning to Hope from Chicago, Illinois. Virginia Clinton Kelley lived to see her son become President before dying of cancer in 1994.
Eldridge and Edith Cassidy, grandparents of President Clinton, are also buried here. Mr Cassidy owned a small neighborhood grocery store which was directly across the street from the cemetery. Mrs Cassidy is remembered as a practical nurse in Hope, Arkansas. President Clinton lived with the Cassidys the first four years (1946-1950) of his life.
