Arline Joy Vlastnik, 75, of Heber Springs entered her eternal rest on Thursday, June 14, 2012. She was born Friday, March 5, 1937 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Constance and Lydia Bukovsky Krupka. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Vlastnik and Sigmund Szozda.
Arline earned her MBA in mid-life from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Ill. and worked in business in the Chicago area for many years. After moving to Heber Springs, Arline became a member of St. Albert's Catholic Church and was the church secretary for several years. At the time of her death she continued to work at the St. James Catholic Church in Searcy.
Arline is survived by three daughters, Patricia Gulik and her husband, Richard, Susan Heinze and her husband, Thomas, Josephine Wojack; seven grandchildren, John Gulik, David Gulik, Andrew Gulik, Daniel Baum, Caitlin Baum, Elise Wojack, Joseph Wojack; one great-grandchild, Charles McKay; two sisters, Lydia Stauber and her husband, Gary, Constance Koziol; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Heber Springs Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Ark. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2012 at St. Albert's Catholic Church in Heber Springs with Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. (Noon) at the church.
