John T Dare, 79, of Russellville, Arkansas died Monday, August 20, 2012, at his home.He was born November 8, 1932, at Nogo, Arkansas to Roy Bryan and Maude Evelyn Pendleton Dare. He was retired from the United States Navy after 23 years of service, was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 274 & was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Russellville. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Nerva and Elva Pendleton; and brother, David Bryan Dare.
Survivors include his wife, Corrine Dare; son and daughter-in-law, David Kim and Rhonda Dare of Dardanelle; brothers and a sister-in-law, W E Bell of Hayti, Missouri, and Dr George and LaDonna Bell of Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Isabelle and Robert Plunk of Hayti, Manervia and Roger Gribble of Mexico, Missouri, and Betty Cronan of Portageville, Missouri; and grandchildren, Cody Andrew Dare and wife, Jamie, of Russellville, and Jesse Aaron Dare of Dardanelle, Arkansas.
Active pallbearers were Tim Tackett, Terry Tackett, Edward Parks, Cody Dare, Jesse Dare, Tanner Tackett, George Wayne McAlister and Nabil Oumimoun. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Ray Brown Deer Camp.
