ROGERS - Vyonne Maxine Rumpf, 77, of Rogers died June 14, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Greenleaf, Kan., to Walter and Dorthea Hornbostel Lane. She worked in the church library for 19 years and was a member of the volunteer staff at The Friendly Book Store. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Rumpf of the home; two daughters, Deborah Rumpf and husband Kirk Hawkins of Huntsville, Ala., and Elizabeth Barnard and husband Robert of Springfield, Mo.; one son, Ronald Rumpf and wife Karla of Columbia, Mo.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. A reception will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Library.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.
