Obituary
Dorthy Raye Deckard, age 66, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born in Little Rock on September 29, 1944, the daughter of the late Opie Ray Lane and Winnie (Johnson) Lane Bailey.
Dorthy was a former employee of Ely Walker and Aromatique in Heber Springs. She was a member of the Ida General Baptist Church. Dorthy loved her granddaughters and was a good Christian woman who had a deep love for everyone she knew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Opie Ray Lane, Winnie Bailey, and Thurman Bailey.
Dorthy is survived by one son, Michael Deckard and his wife, Shay, of Ida; one daughter, Melissa Bunker and her husband, Dewayne, of Heber Springs; the father of her children, L. E. Deckard; and her two granddaughters, Ansley Lane Deckard and Kayla Raye Bunker. Dorthy is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
