Obituary
Rev. Fred Eugene Latch, the son of Andrew M and Mary T. Miller Latch, was born in Wilburn, Arkansas, on September 11, 1919, and passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas, on August 19, 2007, at the age of 87 years. Rev. Latch was a member of the First General Baptist Church of Heber Springs and was a Army veteran, having served in World War II. He received his college education in Indiana and worked as a teacher and pastor in Indiana and retired to Arkansas where he continued pastoring. He was preceded in death by his wife Fern E. (Stonewalter) Latch. Survivors are his son Dan Latch and wife, Karen, and a granddaughter Mary Elizabeth. Rev. Latch is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 21 at Olmstead Funeral Home and funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in the First General Baptist Church of Heber Springs with interment in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.
