Obituary
Sarah Lucille Pilcher Mayhan
(October 21, 1936 - December 18, 2011)
Sarah Lucille Pilcher Mayhan, age 75, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, loving
mother and devoted wife, went home with her Lord on December 18, 2011.
Lucille was born at Tuckerman, Arkansas, on October 21, 1936. She was the
daughter of the late Ora and Jenny (Prysock) Pilcher.
Lucille was a wonderful listener, dedicated homemaker, and compassionate
mother and grandmother. She was the vice president of Mayhan Plumbing for
34 years. Lucille had been a long time member of the Heber Springs Church
of Christ. She was an active member of TOPS.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years,
Darrell Mayhan; one daughter, Rhonda Mayhan; and one brother, Jimmie Ray
Pilcher.
She is survived by one son, Ric Mayhan and his wife, Jeannie, of Vilonia;
two daughters, Viki Mayhan and her husband, B. F. Baker, and Tonya Ritter
and her husband, Dwight Ritter, all of Heber Springs; one sister, Nora
Lewellyn of Heber Springs; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mayhan is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, at 9:00 a.m. at the Heber
Springs Church of Christ with funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m.
officiated by Lance Mays. Interment will follow in Cleburne County Memorial
Gardens. Terry Lewellyn, Teddy Lewellyn, Ronnie Lewellyn, Tim Head, Paul
Graham, and Blake Maulden will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home.
