Obituary
William Gene Sutton, 68 of Heber Springs stepped into the heavenly realm to be with his Father God and Lord Jesus Christ, on Friday, August 24, 2012. He was born Monday, February 28, 1944, in El Dorado, Kansas, to the late Dennis Norman and Josephine Webb Sutton. In addition to his parents, Rev. Sutton was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and John McGuire.

Those that will miss him very much are his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Querry Sutton; one son, William Vincent Sutton and wife Ashley; two daughters, Heather and husband Steve Smith, and Shannon and husband Jonathan Hampton. His grandchildren are Drew Jacob Smith and wife Brooke, Vincent Cole Sutton and wife Rebecca, Brooke Lauren Smith, and Jonathan Madix Hampton; one sister, Anna McGuire Fields, and a cousin, who he considered a brother, Roy Sutton and wife Linda; his Mom, Sybil Querry; Helen and Bruce Robus, Loretta and Rodger Langster, Sam and Jamie Querry, and Nina Alford, his other sisters and brothers. Every member of his family niece and nephew, great niece and nephew, great, great niece or cousin held a special place in his heart, as well as his church family, that he is so loved by and he so loved, and his many friends.

Bill grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas and after graduating from High School, he attended Barber School and worked in Northwest Arkansas until 1972, when he relocated his family to Heber Springs. He retired from barbering 2006, but continued to serve as pastor of the Prevailing Word Church. Bill loved to visit with his patrons and often laughed and said that was were he got material for his sermons. Besides loving to spend time with his family, he loved to hunt and fish.
