CANE HILL - Murrey Oates Campbell, 92, of Cane Hill died May 20, 2005, at his home. He was born April 15, 1913, at Cane Hill to William Booth and Maude S. Oates Campbell. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cane Hill. He graduated Lincoln High School in 1931 and the University of Arkansas, College of Agriculture in 1938. He was drafted into the Army in 1942 and sewed in the Central Warfare Branch before being discharged in 1945. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. His Masonic accomplishments included Cane Hill Masonic Lodge #57, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star, Shriners, York Rite, York Rite College and Red Cross of Constantine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Bell Campbell.

Survivors include one daughter, Suzan Campbell of Cane Hill; three granddaughters, Teri McNabb, Marshawn McNabb and Murrey McNabb.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Cane Hill with the Rev. Dan Wooley with burial in McClellan Cemetery in Cane Hill.

Pallbearers will be Roy Gene Rinehart, Howard Colburn, Tom Rutherford, Bill Morris, Jim Bell and Buster Johnson.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
