Myrna Garner Huffman, 90, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, in Batesville.
Born July 29, 1917, in Larkin, she was the daughter of Nathan B. and Beulah Wilson Garner. She was united in marriage to Ashley Marchant on July 7, 1940. She was a homemaker and a seamstress.
After the death of her first husband, she went to work in a restaurant as a salad maker. In 1968 she married Wesley Huffman. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a member of Millcrest Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Gleneta Martin of Melbourne and Bonita Wegner of Arvado, Colo.; a sister, Ann Bergkamp of Derby, Kan.; two grandchildren, Dani McDaniel of Mountain Home and Mark Martin of Batesville; seven great-grandchildren: Darah McDaniel, Larkin McDaniel, Jimmy McDaniel, Chris Martin, Casey Martin, Shelby Horn and Austin Horn; and a niece, Oleta Della Sorte of Los Angeles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two brothers, Loyd Garner and Foye Garner; and three sisters, Merle Muss, Judy Nail and Johnnie Harris.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Dale Manor officiating. Burial was in New Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were James McDaniel, Brent Sharp, Chris Martin, Greg Sharp, Paul Miller and Gerald Wegner.
Honorary pallbearers were Jack Morgan, Gerald Coleman, Loye McCollum, Frank Fowler, Doyle Wyatt and Bob Martin.
