Fruella Sykes, 86, of Central City died Monday, April 2, 2012, in Van Buren. She was born Feb. 28, 1925, in Barling.
She was a homemaker and member of Central Freewill Baptist Church in Central City.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Central Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Barling City Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by two daughters, Paula Butler of Central City and Brenda Mitchell of Irving, Texas; two sons, Mitch Sykes of Fort Smith and Arnold Sykes of Irving; one sister, Emma Breeden of Bond Special; one brother, J.W. Smith of Central City; and 11 grandchildren.
