Henry A. Smothers Jr., 31, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was a member of Northside United Pentecostal Church in Fort Smith, a volunteer for Bost, the Boys Club in Fort Smith and an honorary black belt in tae kwon do.
Funeral will be 11:30 a.m. today at Northside United Methodist Pentecostal Church in Fort Smith with burial at Barling City Cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Lavelle Smothers and father, Henry Smothers Sr. of Central City; two sisters, Jeanna Rodriguez of Fort Smith and Austina Collins of Central City; and his maternal grandmother, Mildred Brown of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Lambert, Greg Echols, Clayton McKendree, Perry Myers, Anthony Allen and Chris Hurst.
