Gene Sheffer, 85, of Brinkley died Saturday. Survived by his wife, Fern Sheffer, son, Don (Cindy) Sheffer of Brinkley, daughter, Cheryl (Edward) Martin of Las Vegas, sister, Sue (Eddie) Wood of Judsonia, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Tuesday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia.
