ROGERS (Special) - Charles Roscoe Harpool, 79, widely known farmer, died at his home in the Pleasant Hill Community yesterday morning. Mr. Harpool, who was born April 5, 1882 in Stanbury, Mo., was a member or the Brightwater Methodist Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Miss Vivian Harpool of Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Paralee Jones of Bentonville; four sons, Roscoe and Ed of Pleasant Hill, M-Sgt. Melvin Harpool of Fort Monroe, Va. and Capt. Charles Harpool or Carmichael, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Stults of Picher, Okla.; three brothers, Dan of Picher, Okla., Frank of Wichita, Kan. and Leo of Springfield, Mo.; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral survive will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Burns Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. M. B. Short.
Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
