George W. Bowerman, 94, Rt. 1, Fayetteville, died Aug. 29 at his home. Born April 16, 1880, at Forsyth, Mo., he was the son of Enoch and Mary Daniel Bowerman, a member of Free Will Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rhoda Cloer Bowerman of the home; three sons, George N. Bowerman, Enoch Bowerman, and Gene W. Bowerman, Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Nangus (Mary) Wright, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Orville (Dora) Wright, Sprindale; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Spurgon, Rogers; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Sisco Chapel, Springdale. Burial will be in Joyce Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
