Darrell E. Lovell, 84, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Lovell was born December 22, 1928 at Aplin, Arkansas to the late Henry Lovell and the late Gladys Scott Lovell. He was a warehouse manager for Sibley Supply and a member of Lexa Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nina Reynolds Lovell; four sons, Bobby Lovell, Paul Lovell and Charles Ray Lovell, all of Lexa, and David Lovell (Wilma) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one daughter, Linda Vondran (Roy) of Marianna, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Geneva Palmer of Elaine, Arkansas and Joey Orcherton of Salem, Oregon; one brother, Jack Lovell (Nellie) of Marianna; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bonnie McClure and Betty Grossman.
A graveside service for Darrell Lovell will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Park at West Helena. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Brother Tommy Jacobs will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena Arkansas.
