Lillian Ernese Heard, 73, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Heard was born March 7, 1938 in Aubrey, Arkansas to the late Earnest G. Gideon and the late Dora Houston Gideon.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles B. Heard; a son, James Heard of Brandon, Mississippi; three daughters, Charlotte Hamilton (Eddie) of West Helena, Lisa Bizinic (Virgil) of Poplar Grove, Arkansas and Jennefier Heard of West Helena; eight grandchildren, James Heard, Jr., Michelle Clay, James Hamilton, Tamitha Hightower, Amy Hamilton, Nicholas Hamilton, T.J. Haycraft and Skylar Haycraft; six great-grandchildren, Elliot Clay, Blaine Hamilton, Alexis Hightower, Isaiah Hightower, Tianna Simpson and Kayden Donald; a sister, Oleta Reeves of West Helena; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Heard; her parents; and a sister, Loudean Lindsey.

Services for Lillian Heard will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Roller-Citizens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Charles Shipman will officiate.
Pallbearers are James Hamilton, Vincent Clay, James Heard, Jr., Nicholas Hamilton, T.J. Haycraft and Joey Chamness.
