Funeral services for Lawrence Francis Notto, Jr., 77, of Helena, Arkansas will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Helena. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Friday with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena.
Lawrence “Larry” Notto was born August 27, 1933 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Lawrence Francis Notto, Sr. and Mary Beveliaque Notto. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 6, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Littlefield Notto, his parents, his sister, Dorothy Notto, and his granddaughter, Alexis Notto.
He leaves seven children, Lawrence Notto III (Deidre) of Manassas, Virginia; Anita Strickland (Tom) of Benton, Arkansas; Leonard Notto (Renee') of Russellville, Arkansas; Michael Notto (April) of Bartlett, Tennessee; Candace Shepherd (Bill) of Bartlett, Tennessee; Jeanna Sherrill (Brian) of Redfield, Arkansas; and Lisa Hughey (Lance) of Lowell, Arkansas; and eleven grandchildren, Lawrence IV, Lauren, David, Madeline, Cassy, Hayley, Kaitlyn, Logan, Jessica, Jaron, and Devin.
Larry Notto was a lifelong resident and local business owner in Helena. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a hard worker, devoted husband, and loving father. As a leader and active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, he instilled a strong christian faith in all of his children. He will be remembered for his strength, his entertaining stories, and his outgoing personality. He will be dearly missed by his family.
