Louis Arnold Olivares of Elaine Arkansas passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at his home in Wabash, Arkansas surrounded by his loved ones. Louis was born November 22, 1942 in Rossville, Texas to the late Alex and Beatrice Olivares. After graduating from Jourdanton Texas High School he proudly enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served aboard the USS Ranger. He relocated, with his family, from Texas to Elaine in 1971 and began a 38-year career in the Parts Business. He retired in December of 2009 from Producers Tractor Company after proudly working in the same location his entire career.

He is survived by three sons; Joe Cissell of Lexa, Arkansas, Tim Cissell (Charlotte) of Lexa, Arkansas and Jonathan Olivares (Paige) of Houston, Texas; two daughters Denice Morgan of Lexa, Arkansas and Deberah Roberts (Greg) of Elaine, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alex Olivares (Ofelia) of Pleasanton, Texas, Rudy Olivares (Rachelle) of San Antonio, Texas and Jimmy Olivares (JoAnn) of Jourdanton, Texas; two sisters; Lamarr Pena (Charlie) of San Antonio and Mary Lou Cabrera (Jesse) of San Antonio, Texas; one sister in-law Grace Olivares of San Antonio, Texas, and hundreds of friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Gilbert Olivares.

Funeral services will be held at Roller Citizens Funeral Home on Wednesday April 20th at 3:00 pm with Graveside services to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Benny McCann, Jerry Roberts, Greg Roberts, Timothy (Lee) Cissell, Joseph Cissell and Chris Herrera.
