Springdale, April 19 -(Special)- John M. Hall, 71, a native of Illinois and former state representative in Kansas died at his home here Saturday morning. Funeral service was conducted this morning at the Callison-Russell chapel by the Rev. E.G. Kaetzell, with burial in Bluff cemetery. He came to Springdale from Los Angeles, Calif., in 1946. He was a member of the Masonic lodge.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emma May Hall; a sister, Mrs. C.H. Gore of Los Angeles, and two nieces and grand nephews.

SPRINGDALE (Special) -- Mrs. Emma Mae Hall, 85, died yesterday at her home in Marysville, Kan. Widow of the late John Hall, she was a former resident of Springdale, and a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by five brothers, J.L. Stevenson, Emporia, Kan., A.G. Stevenson, Oklahoma City, Chalmers Stevenson, Hiwatha, Kan., Olan Stevenson, Wahoo, Neb., and Clayton Stevenson, of Oregon; and four sisters, Mrs. Zella Warren, Denver, Mrs. Clementine Wauklin, Los Angeles, Mrs. Bertha Jones, Axtell, Kan,. and Mrs. Pearl Helvern, Hiwatha, Kan.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Callison-Sisco Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Garland Lavender officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.
