Larry James Parker, Sr., 48, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 11, 2010 in Helena. Larry was born March 9, 1961 in Hughes, Arkansas to Bonnie Sue Altman Parker and the late Charles Parker.
He is survived by his wife of twenty four years, Robbie Snowden Parker of Helena; two sons, Jamie Finley of Little Rock, Arkansas and Larry James Parker, II of Helena; two daughters, Vanessa Parker Patton and husband, Anthony, of Helena, and Paige Parker of Helena; two grandchildren, Gavin Michael Patton and Adalyn Grace Finley; his mother, Bonnie Parker of Helena; and a brother, Derrick Lee Parker of Forrest City, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services for Larry Parker will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2010 at Roller-Citizens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Joe Garner will officiate.
Pallbearers are Lyle Wheeler, Dusty Patton, Tim Henson, Jackie Swindle, Little Jackie Swindle, Jr. and James Buford.
