Ruby Jeffcoat Lykins, 93, of Lavaca passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, in her home. She was a homemaker, a member of Central Free Will Baptist Church and the widow of Dallas Jeffcoat and Alvin Lykins. She was preceded in death by one son, A.D. Jeffcoat; and one daughter, Dolly Miley.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at Central Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Barling City Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Viewing will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
She is survived by one son, J.D. Jeffcoat and his wife, Ruth of Lavaca; four daughters, Mary Madden and husband, Tom of Greenwood, Betty Caldwell and husband, Bob of Cedarville, Lanita Kunkel and husband, Joe of Bentonville, and Wanda Jeffcoat of Overland Park, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
