Matthew Dewayne Dodson, age 20, of Springfield, passed away, Monday, March 10, 2014. He was born April 9, 1993 in Conway, Arkansas. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother, Melissa Thomas Dodson of Springfield; daughter, Chloe Dodson of Springfield; brother, Michael Shawn Dodson and wife Raven of Morrilton; step mom, Terri Dodson and her children, Raven, Troy, and Gracie of Florida; half brother, Derrick of Little Rock; grandmother, Barbara Bradley and grandfather, Jim Thomas; grandmother, Janie Parlier and grandfather, Paul Dodson.
He was preceded in death by his father Michael Shawn Dodson, Sr.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at Springfield Cemetery with Bro. Danny Ward officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
