Burrell Leon Homesley, 79, Spring Valley, died Jan. 29 in Veterans Administration Hospital, Fayetteville. Born Feb. 7, 1897, at Spring Valley, he was the son of Henry and Mary Savage Homesley, a member of Pilgrims Rest Freewill Baptist Church and a retired farm laborer. Survivors include several cousins.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Joyce Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Sisco Chapel.
