Melissa Gail “Lisa” Kalb, 34, of Helena passed away February 25, 2007 in West Helena. Mrs. Kalb was born on December 12, 1972 in Helena to Roger Jenkins and Diane Ward. Lisa was a member of Main Street Helena, Phillips County Relay for Life, and the Chamber of Commerce.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Vance Kalb of Helena; her mother, Diane Ward and husband, Charles of Grenada, MS; her father, Roger Jenkins and wife, Patty of Moon Lake, MS; her mother-in-law, Edwynne Kalb of Helena; a sister, Angela Jenkins of West Helena; brothers, Michael Jenkins of Olive Branch, MS, Roger Jenkins, Jr. of Memphis, TN, Jacob Ward of Grenada, MS, and Keith Ward of Southaven, MS; grandmother, Thelma Jenkins of West Helena; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles Jenkins and Harriett and Alfred Baker.
Services for Lisa Kalb will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Helena. A rosary service will be held Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. at Roller-Citizens with visitation to follow from 7-8 p.m. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Father Joe Marconi will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
