Edileen Stingley Milam, 87, of Maumelle, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehab in Little Rock. Edileen was born Aug. 21, 1925 to Homer McDaniel and Lona Vice in Rondo.
Edileen Stingley Milam, 87, of Maumelle, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehab in Little Rock. Edileen was born Aug. 21, 1925 to Homer McDaniel and Lona Vice in Rondo. She leaves a son, E. R. “Eddie” Stingley III (Vickie) of Russellville; a daughter, Judy Stingley Hartsfield of Maumelle; three grandchildren, Cheryl Hartsfield (Chris), Edward R. “Rusty” Stingley, IV (Kathleen) and Amy Hartsfield (Dane); a great-grandchild Annie Jeanne Stingley; two sisters, Bernice Connolley, of Southaven, Miss. and Thelma Jobe of Augusta, Ga.; three brothers, G. W. McDaniel of Mt. Home, Robert McDaniel of Pine Bluff and Clyde McDaniel of LuRand, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands E. Roscoe Stingley Jr. and George A. Milam, an infant son, Kenneth Larry Stingley; and a brother, Billy McDaniel. For 31 years Edileen enjoyed gardening and church activities at her Moon Lake home. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19 in the Roller-Citizens Chapel in Helena-West Helena. Rev. Mark Massey will officiate. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Barton.
