Stella Zemann, 95, of Little Rock died Monday, February 8, 2010. She was born October 16, 1914 in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Joannes and Leocadia Tylenda Grabowski.
Stella was proud of her age and enjoyed a long and active life with generally good health until very recently. She was known by her relatives and close friends as “The Queen of Poland”. She loved to shop for bargains, and also enjoyed playing slot machines at the casinos.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; a daughter, Susan Nolan; grandson, Robert DeLosh; four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, Richard Zemann and his wife Mary of Little Rock; a daughter, Dolores Kistner of Bartow, Florida; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Rosary service will be at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501)224-8300.
A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 12th.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Stella’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
