Ronald Lloyd Hargett, age 69, passed away at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 11, 2013. He is predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Betty Hargett and his grandparents.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Massey Hargett; two daughters, Tracy Alexander (Randy); Elise Hargett (Rob Teston); three grandchildren, Savanna and India Gonzales, Cruz Rigler; one sister, Lynn Murden (Jim); cousins, Jim Lumpkin (Jelaine); Mickey Mangun (Anthony) and Tanya Nordstrom.
Ron was born in Columbus, Georgia on November 2, 1943, graduated from Biloxi High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He worked at Jones Floor Covering in Pensacola, Florida, living in Gulf Breeze for 20 years. He later retired to Little Rock, Arkansas.
Visitation and funeral services will be at Word Aflame Fellowship, 7800 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas, Friday, June 14, 2013. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m.- Noon with the celebration of his life immediately following. Reverends James Lumpkin Jr. and Larry Webb will officiate. Interment will be in Maumelle, Arkansas at Riverwood Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Word Aflame Fellowship. Arrangements are being made by Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.
The family gives special thanks to Ron’s loving caregivers, Kelli Pollett, Don and Rhoda Stivers.
