March 26, 1935 - October 11, 2012
Hubert D. Fugett, 77, of Maumelle, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a Certified Public Accountant. He was a member of the Arkansas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He retired in 2000 after a 30 year career with Affiliated Foods, serving as their Chief Financial Officer. He was born on March 28, 1935 near Cave City, Arkansas, to the late Roland and Ray Goforth Fugett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Fugett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Wanda Hollis Fugett; son, Michael (Melissa) Fugett of Little Rock; daughter, Debbie (Mike) Watson of Maumelle; three grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Fugett, Sarah Caroline Fugett, and Amanda (Nathan) Burroughs; one great-granddaughter, Reagan Burroughs; one brother, Dean (Alice) Fugett of Cave City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, (501) 224-8300, with Mr. Nick Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home.
