Junior Derrick, 75, of Conway, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 in Conway. He was born Monday, February 10, 1936 in Cornith, Mississippi to the late Sam and Velma James Derrick. Mr. Derrick was retired from IC bus Company (formerly Ward Bus Sales), a member of the Conway Pentecostal Church of God and he loved to repair small engines.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Irene Biggs Derrick and 3 brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Lorene Ward Patterson Derrick; a daughter, Jeanette Morris and her husband Marshall of Conway; grandson, Michael Caldwell and his wife Marcie of West Jordan, Utah; a great-granddaughter, Maddie Caldwell; two sisters; two brothers; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2011, 2:00-4:00pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway (501)327-7727. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, December 11, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ervin Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Republican Cemetery in Greenbrier.
