Gaylon Dean Hall, 67, of Greenbrier passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011. He was born on Thursday, July 15, 1943 in Tyronza, Arkansas to the late Conn J. and Melba (Dean) Hall.

Gaylon was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a very outdoors man, who could always be found working in the yard. He loved pitching horseshoes and his time with family and friends. Nothing was more enjoyable than time spent on the porch or grilling out back with a Hogs game playing. He was considered a great employee by the City of Greenbrier, where he had worked for over sixteen years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Kirkpatrick) Hall; two sons, Mitchell Compton and Andrew Whitten; three daughters, Jamie Leigha and Jake Sanders, Jennifer and Jason Woodard, and Katherine Compton; five grandchildren; two brothers, Conn and Linda Hall, and Gene and Raye Hall.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier with Cliff Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Republican Cemetery with Monte Havens, Luke Jones, Raymond Atkin, Chad McMillen, Frankie Lee, Tommy Kirkpatrick, Craig Johnston, and Mitchell Compton, serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, January 17, 2011.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Hospice Nurses: Mona, Tommy, Kathy, and Dr. Stewart.
