Brittany Danielle Papera, 17, of Greenbrier, died Friday, May 22, 2009, at UAMS, Little Rock, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born October 1, 1991, in Conway, Arkansas. She was a Junior at Greenbrier High School; and was attending cosmetology school also. Brittany was a member of Bono Baptist Church, and had attended Springhill Baptist, Crosspoint Baptist, Troutman Chapel and Wooster First Baptist Church.

Brittany’s family remember her as being full of life; and had lived her 17 years to the fullest. She was prissy and sassy, and quite flamboyant, but loved everyone. She was caring, and didn’t know how to say “no,” especially when it involved having her photo taken, which was one of her favorite things. Her friends will remember her as a “big ham,” who probably remember how she couldn’t wait for lunch so she could leave school and go get her special order “Big Mac with mustard, tomato, cheese, extra mustard and tomato.” “P.J.” admits that she had a jealous streak; and had her own special way of putting her clothes away, these were just a couple of the quirks he loved about her.

She is survived by her parents, Mac Papera of Greenbrier; LaTresa Denell (Coran) Patterson of Mayflower; her sister, Ashley Blackshire and husband Michael; her twin brother, Brandon Micheal Papera; brother, Jack Doyle Papera, all of Greenbrier; grandparents, Lenard D. Coran; LaTresa A. Burton, both of Conway; John and Jean Bantz of Greenbrier; Armondo and Annabel Papera of San Dima, California; great-grandparents, Lenard J. and Bertha Coran of Conway; a niece, Faith Blackshire; nephew, Ayden Blackshire; her fiance’ Paul “P.J.” McFall of Greenbrier; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Crosspoint Baptist Church in Greenbrier. Visitation will be Tuesday, 5 – 9:00 p.m., at the church. Burial will follow in Republican Cemetery, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Greenbrier. 501-679-2575.
