Betty Poling, 72, of Mountain View, left this life on earth to be with her
Lord on Oct. 26, 2004. She was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Bald Knob, Arkansas,
to Lawrence and Isobell Osmon. She was a graduate of Marked Tree High School and was a member of the White Water Baptist Church in Mountain View.She is survived by her dear husband, Landes Poling; her son, Michael Hughes and wife, Betty of Clarksville; her daughter, Judy Melton and husband, Chuck of Little Rock; a daughter-in-law, Tracia Hughes-Jungkurth of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; three step-sons, Mike Poling and wife, Judy of Beebe, Larry Poling of Kansas City, Mo., and Terry Poling of Florida; three brothers, Lawrence "Sonny" Osmon, Jr. and wife, Nell of Mountain View, Harold Osmon and wife, Wanda of Mountain View, and David Osmon and wife, Nancy of Mountain Home; two sisters, Margaret Childers and husband, Bill of Flint, Mich., and Lora Mott and husband, Chuck of Bald Knob; four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8 on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at the
Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob with interment in Shady Grove Cemetery.
