Juanita Maxine Leonard, 88, of Bald Knob, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. She was born November 24, 1924 in Judsonia a daughter of the late Oliver and Carrie Chumley.
She is survived by her 4 children, Eddie Leonard (Pat) of Bald Knob, Rodney Leonard (Vicki) of Bradford, Debbie Carter (Ray) of Cushman and Janice Bales (Billy) of West Point; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leonard; 2 brothers, Woodrow Chumley and Milburn Chumley; a sister, Onalee Chumley; grandson, Corry Carter.
Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dean Dill officiating and granddaughter, Chasity Malner giving the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
