Eunice Marie McConnell, 90, of Judsonia, formerly of Bald Knob, died Sunday, June 26, 2011. She was born February 15, 1921 in Bono, Arkansas a daughter of the late John Franklin and Emma Louise Clark.
Mrs. McConnell was an outstanding homemaker, always providing well for her family. She was the "best momma in the world" and an excellent cook.
She is survived by her 5 sons, Harold McConnell, Floyd "Junior" McConnell, Larry McConnell and Johnny McConnell all of Bald Knob and Charles McConnell of Antioch; twin daughters, Brenda Joyce Adams of Bald Knob and Linda Lois Whitener of Judsonia; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Harold McConnell; grandson, Josh Williams; brothers, Cecil, J.C., John Jr., Lee Beemis and Virgil Clark; sisters, Vema, Edna and Jewell and an aunt that later became her step-mother, Frances Clark.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to The Arkansas Children's Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
