Bill David Cleveland, Sr., age 84, of Maumelle, went to be with his Lord, Monday, November 12, 2007. He was born on July 5, 1923 at Van Buren, Arkansas, the son of Samuel Lance Cleveland and Otta Spradley Cleveland. He was a retired employee of Wilson Meat Packing and was a Veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Maumelle and was active in Gideons International.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Frances Deal Cleveland; a son, David Cleveland of Maumelle; a daughter, Lancene Onderbeke and husband Bob of Pangburn; and a host of other family and friends.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Maumelle with Dr. Jeff Beshears officiating. Interment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.
