Springdale — The Rev. George A. Been, 86, of 707 E. Emma, died Thursday in the Springdale hospital. He was a retired Free Will Baptist minister, a carpenter and farmer, born June 25, 1881 at War Eagle.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Melissa Savage Been of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Irena Wright of Springdale; one half-brother, E. O. Eeen of Atwater, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mauda McGuiney of Lamar, Colo. and Mrs. Dessie Brown of Tracy, Calif.; four grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pilgrim's Rest Free Will Baptist Church with burial in Joyce Cemetery under direction of the Sisco Funeral Chapel.

Springdale - Mrs. Melissa Been, 84, of 709 E. Meadow St., died today in Springdale Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1885 in Washington County and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Irena Wright of Springdale; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will he 2 p.m. Monday at Pilgrim's Rest church with burial in Joyce Cemetery under direction of Sisco Funeral Home.
