ROGERS — Othel M. Henderson, 91, of Rogers died Sept, 20, 2006, at his home. He was born July 13, 1915, in Mineola, Texas, to Allen and Vernon Carr Henderson. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Rogers.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Helen Henderson of home; one son, Marlin Henderson and wife Linda of Rogers; three daughters, Fayrene Gray and husband J.H. of Las Cruces, N.M., Lois Kent and husband Jim of Pineville, Mo., and Louise Joiner and husband Pat of Rogers; two brothers, Virgil Henderson of Great Britain and Ernest Vank of Garland, Texas; five sisters, Vera Richardson of Clarinda, Iowa, Clara Matthews of Georgetown, Texas, Fay Hayden of Kilgore, Texas, Bessie Vank of Rockwall, Texas, and Agnes Malek of Sacramento, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, online at www.rollinsfuneral.com. Josh Scroggins and Clyde Brummett will officiate. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 1001 W. Walnut, Rogers, 72756.
