Funeral services for Henry A. Stephens, 80, a former city resident who died Friday afternoon at Helena, were held today in Stevens Funeral Home. Rev. Royce L. Lowe conducting the services, with burial in Forrest Park cemetery. Mr. Stephens was born Apr.12,1887 at Moro, the son of Mrs. Caledonia Curtis Stephens and Henry W. Stephens. A retired farmer and store owner, he moved to Helena 14 years ago, and resided at 900 Adams Street at the time of his death. A member of the Assembly of God Church, he had been in poor health about a year. He was hospitalized and in critically ill for two weeks. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Allie McMinn Stephens, whom he married in 1939; three sons, William Albert of Haynes City, Fla., Mack and Homer of Forrest City; a daughter, Mrs. Laverne Turner of Memphis; and 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
