Mr Randy James, aged 26, of Rt.1, Box 138, Laredo, Tex., died April 28, at Falcon Lake, Zapata, Tex., in an accidental drowning while fishing with a friend. He was born November 10, 1951, in Forrest City and was the son of Mrs. Christine Gore James and Omar Eugene James. He moved to Laredo, Tex., two years ago and was a concrete construction man. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He married Miss Jan Meeker in 1972. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jan Meeker James of Laredo, Tex., two brothers, Ronald James of Wichita, Tex., and Jimmy James of Forrest City; one sister, Mrs. Gwenlyn Clayton; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Booker Gore of Forrest City. Funeral services will be at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel at 4 p.m., Tuesday, with Mr. Tom Doyle in charge of services. Burial will be in Forrest Park.
